Start prioritizing yourself

Pause for a moment and breathe!

Set your devices aside and engage with your surroundings. What do you see? What do you hear? How do you feel?

In our rush through daily life, we’ve abandoned something crucial—ourselves. Our body, mind, and spirit cry out for attention while we rush to the next obligation. We’ve become addicted to the fleeting satisfaction of productivity, checking boxes on never-ending lists while failing to notice how quickly we add new tasks.

For too long, I ignored my own needs, convinced that pushing harder was the answer. I hit the wall again and again, and each burnout was met with self-criticism rather than compassion. Then I discovered 10-minute meditation—a simple practice that became my lifeline. The transformation wasn’t immediate, but it taught me something valuable: tending to our mental wellbeing isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

Through consistent practice, I learned to observe my thoughts without judgment. I discovered that mindfulness isn’t about emptying your mind—it’s about becoming aware of what fills it.
